Move over Corel Draw, Vector Paint is Here

Awhile ago in response to Kid Pix someone recommended Vector Paint, and playing around with it this morning I am impressed.

While there are quite a few paint programs for Chrome OS, until now there weren't any Corel Draw like vector drawing programs. VectorPaint fills that gap by allowing you to create unique artwork with shapes, color gradients and layers. While different from a traditional paint program, after some use with VectorPaint I really came to enjoy the consistency of use from shapes to icons to text.

I could see this being a Kid Pix replacement because of the countless icons (shapes) Vector Paint has available. There is a slight learning curve but after repeated use the consistency of selecting fill, outline, and then shape or icon makes it easy to use.
