Sumo Paint - An Alternative to Pixlr

I am not sure exactly what the issue is but Pixlr Editor has been out to lunch for a week or more ( Looks like deleting cookies fixed any issues.) If you are looking for a solid alternative Sumo Paint is up to the task.


Sumo Paint is a bitmap paint program similar to Pixlr, Gimp, or PhotoShop. I would say even with its childish sounding name, it has more advanced features than Pixlr.

As a result this might be better for your post KidPix students. The shape tools allow quite a bit of customization in both color and gradients.
